Introduction of Speaker: 

 Xiaofeng Wang, professor and doctoral supervisor. Worked in the Department of Horticulture of Northwest Agricultural University. Obtained bachelor's degree and master's degree successively In July 1993 and then taught in the school. Received his Ph.D. degree from Northwest Agricultural University In 1999. Currently, he is a distinguished professor of Shaanxi hundred talents program, a distinguished expert of Shaanxi government, a member of Chinese horticultural society.

It is mainly engaged in the effect of brassinolide signal on plant growth and development and its application in the molecular breeding of metabolism regulation of horticultural crops. Granted multiple funding of NSFC, major project of Yangling District, and national key R & D plan project. He has published more than 30 research papers in international and domestic journals ,including Plant Cell, Developmental Cell, PNAS and et al. He is in charge of the construction of the whole English course of horticultural plant biotechnology and have taught multiple courses in vegetable science.
