Introduction of Speaker: Dr. Hua Han is currently a professor of Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Fourth Military Medical University. Dr. Han accepted his PhD degrees in 1991 and 1996 at Fourth Military Medical University and Kyoto University, respectively, and worked in Kyoto University until 2001. He then established the Department of Medical Genetics and Developmental Biology, and later moved to the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of Fourth Military Medical University. Dr. Han studies molecular mechanisms underlying normal development and tissue homeostasis, especially focusing on Notch signaling in vessel development and tumor microenvironment. He has published more than 100 papers in academic journals including Nature Immunology, Hepatology, and Cancer Research.
