Brief introduction of Yan lu:
Yan Lu, Ph.D., received her Master Degree in botany from Nanjing University in 2000, and her Ph.D. degree in Botany form University of Wisconsin in 2005, and conducted postdoctoral research at Michigan State University from 2005 to 2011. She has been an assistant professor and associate professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at Western Michigan University since 2011. Her research is focused on the biogenesis and repair of plant chloroplast photosynthetic complexes, chloroplast RNA editing, plant photosynthesis and amino acid metabolism, etc. She has received fundings from NSF and WMU and published more than 20 papers in journals such as Plant Cell and Cell Research.
