　　Introduction of Speaker:

　　Dr. Xu Xiaodong is a professor of the College of Life Sciences, Northwest A&F University. Dr. Xu received his bachelor’s degree from Beijing Agricultural University in 1989 and master’s degree from Beijing Agricultural University in 1995. He earned his Ph.D. degree in Virology in 2009 from The University of Reading, UK. He joined Northwest A&F University in 2009.  Since 2001, Dr. Xu started to study the regulation of baculovirus gene expression. After joined Northwest A&F University, he began to focus on the late expression factor lef-10, which was finally proved to be a virus encoded prion.
