WEI Qiang, Ph.D. Associate professor. The member of Shaanxi stem cell society and the member of the 8th Council of veterinary obstetrics branch of China animal husbandry and Veterinary Society.

2. Education and research experience

In July 2005, graduated from the College of life sciences of Shaanxi Normal University.

In July 2011, graduated from Kunming Institute of zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

From 2011 to now, worked in the laboratory of animal cell and embryo engineering, College of Veterinary Medicine, Northwest A & F University.

3. Research field and courses

(1) The mechanism of mesenchymal stem cells in the treatment of premature ovarian failure;

(2) Clinical application of pet stem cells and immune cells.

Undergraduate courses: Animal Cell and Embryo Engineering, Animal Welfare and Protection, General Biology II (bilingual course).

Postgraduate courses: Animal Embryology and Embryo Engineering, Biochip Technology, Animal Stem Cell and Tissue Engineering, Protein Engineering.

4. Representative academic achievements

Authorized 1 national invention patent, published 15 SCI papers as the corresponding author (co-corresponding author) or the first author (co-first author), and participated in editing three textbooks and Monographs. Undertaken 9 scientific research projects, including the youth fund project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the basic research program of Natural Science in Shaanxi Province.
