  Since NWAFU's online meal ordering service was officially launched on May 13th, its convenient, efficient, time-saving and labor-saving service functions have been welcomed by teachers and students, greatly facilitating the work and learning of teachers and students, effectively alleviating the problem of teachers and students scattered dining in the canteen during the epidemic prevention and control period, and ensuring the safety and order of campus dining environment.

  The platform is a professional delivery service platform tailored for the university campus cafeteria. Teachers and students can follow the platform WeChat public account on the mobile phone or download the APP client for online meal ordering and payment. There are three methods to choose: delivery, dine-in and self-pick-up. For delivery service, professionally trained delivery staff go to the designated cafeteria to pick up the meal, and send it to the designated location. The students take the meals in batches, and there is no contact in the whole process. When self-pick-up is selected, the canteen packs the dishes in advance according to the order of the teachers and students, and the teachers and students scan the code to take the meal automatically. All three meal ordering methods have the reservation function, which allow the reservations during the meal time, and make it possible to eat immediately on arrival, saving teachers and students’ time and energy of queuing. It greatly alleviates the pressure of the staff density in the dining peak period, reduces the communication risk, and effectively realizes the purpose of decentralized dining. In case of emergencies, the dedicated background can be used to quickly query the dining track to find people who are in close contact.

  Up to now, the total number of registered users of the service platform is nearly 1500, with 1800 orders received. About 150 new users are added every day. The number of orders received per day has exceeded 200 and increased gradually. The convenience and efficiency of online meal ordering bring new dining experience for teachers and students, effectively improve the quality of life for teachers and students on campus, and further promote the intelligent logistics service function.
