Recently, the Shaanxi Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League issued the “Notice on the Selection Results of the Second Batch of Qinling Ecological and Environmental Protection Young Scholars”. Chen Ningbo and Xiong Dongmei, from College of Animal Science and Technology, Zhang Wei, from College of Grassland Agriculture, Qiu Ling, from College of Landscape Architecture and Art, He Hailong and Liu Jincheng from College of Natural Resources and Environment, and Zhang Han from College of Economics and Management were selected.

The selection and recruitment of Qinling ecological and environmental protection “Young Scholars” is an important measure to implement general secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on ecological environment protection in Qinling Mountains, and continue to play the role of “Young Scholars” expert think tanks in the field of ecological and environmental protection in the whole province. 175 people were selected for the second batch of Qinling ecological and environmental protection “Young Scholars” in Shaanxi Province, which were divided into six groups: water conservancy, geology and geography, resources and environment, architectural planning and management, animals and plants, and ecology. Young scholars will give full play to the professional and regional advantages, make positive contributions to the protection of ecological environment of the Qinling Mountains through various methods such as research and field inspections, and promote the construction of beautiful Shaanxi.
