On the morning of May 20, the founding meeting of the School of Quality Education of NWAFU was held in front of No.3 Building on north campus. Li Xingwang, Secretary of the university Party Committee, awarded the license to the School of Quality Education. The school is a new model for the university to integrate all educational resources and explore the development of quality education, which is the first in China.

　　University leaders Li Xingwang, Lv Weidong, Chen Yulin and Yan Zushu, leaders of some functional departments, deputy secretaries of all departments, all front-line full-time counselors and all faculty members of the School of Quality Educationattended the meeting, presided over by Vice President Ma Jianhua.

　　At the meeting, Lv Weidong, deputy secretary of the university Party Committee, read out the leadership appointment document of the School of  Quality Education, and Chen Yulin, vice president, read out the establishment document of the School.

　　Yan Zushu, deputy secretary of the university Party Committee and President ofthe School of Quality Education , said in his speech that NWAFU was officially liberated on May 20, 71 years ago, and on the commemorative day, the establishment of School of  Quality Education is of great significance. As the first dean, Yan will make unremitting efforts for the construction and development of the School of Quality Education from three aspects together with the members of the school team:strengthen the top-level design of the school and promote the scientific development of the school; strengthen the construction of the faculty and continuously improve the efficiency of morality cultivation; strengthen the research of education and teaching and strive to build the quality education with NWAFU characteristics.

　　Li Na, a full-time teacher representative of the School ofQuality Education, Professor of Psychological Development and Education Center, and Feng Xiaolong, a part-time teacher, counselor representative and College of Plant Protection made speeches respectively. From the perspective of teaching and educating people and the impact of public basic courses on the development of life, they talked about the vision for the School of Quality Education.

　　In his concluding speech, Li Xingwang pointed out that the establishment of the School of Quality Education is an important measure to deeply study and implement the spirit of the National Education Conference and the ideological and political work conference of colleges and universities, and to deepen the reform of the education system. The university party committee focused on the goal of creating a world-class agricultural university and cultivating first-class talents, and made decisions after careful research.

　　Li Xingwang hopes that the leading group and all the teachers of the school will conscientiously enhance their sense of mission and urgency, stick to the fundamental task of cultivating talents with morality, work together to meet the difficulties, explore bravely, and strive for good results, so as to make new and greater contributions to improve the quality of talent training and build a world-class agricultural university.

　　It is understood that the School of Quality Educationshoulders the responsibilities of education, teaching, research, practice and part of management. It has five teaching and research offices including psychological education, military theory, innovation and entrepreneurship, employment guidance, and art education, carrying out comprehensive quality education for the entire university.
