From August 31st to September 6th, the ninth Qinling Ecological Civilization Education Course of NWAFU was officially held at Huoditang Experimental Forest Farm. More than 140 non-agricultural freshmen from the colleges of humanities, economics and management, water resources and architectural engineering , enology, natural resources and environment, forestry, and other colleges participated in the course.

With the theme of "Beautiful Qinling Mountains, Humanistic Landscape", the 7-day course allows students to appreciate the natural environment and human history of Qinling Mountains, experience the ecological beauty of Qinling Mountains, and get a preliminary understanding of the connotation of "ecological civilization".

This Qinling Ecological Civilization Education Course is conducted by combining theoretical teaching with on-site teaching, hands-on practice and social investigation, from theory to practice to personal experience in a full range of teaching methods, enabling students to understand the nature and species of Qinling mountains.Through carrying out ecological civilization education, students can not only understand the knowledge of biological science and ecological environment, improve their cognitive ability of nature and ecological environment, but also feel the relationship between human and nature, the relationship between ecological environment and social progress, and the development track of Qinling Mountains and human civilization, so as to improve the cultural quality and consciously practice the emotion of ecological civilization .
