From May 31stto June2nd, the 2019 China Service-Robot Competition of Zhongguancun (Jinan) Industrial BaseCupwas held at the Shungeng International Exhibition Center in Jinan, Shandong. The 26 student teams from College of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering of NWAFU won 11 first prizes, 12 second prizes and 3 third prizes. Among them, the Qinrui team and the Evergreen team won the championship and the runner-up respectively in the"Picking Robot” competition. The AirForce1 team and the Watchkeeper team won the championship and the runner-up respectively in the "Water-saving Irrigation Robot” competition. The Houji team won the championship of "Pollen Robot” project, and the Dream team and Shennong team took the second and third place respectively in the "Spraying Robot” competition.

The 2019 China Service Robot Competition is co-hosted by the China Automation Society, the Automation Teaching Guidance Committee of MOE, and the Jinan Municipal Government. 786 teams composed of 2,200 teachers and students from 121 universities participated the competition. The competition includes six section: agricultural service robots, home service robots, medical service robots, assistant service robots, educational service robots, and sports service robots. There are 40 competition events, covering the latest popular application scenarios in the public service field.
