On the MOE newly-released filing and approval results of undergraduate majors in general institutes of higher education in 2021, three majors applied by NWAFU --- Agricultural Intelligent Equipment Project, Smart Forestry and Smart Water Conservancy, found their names!

Committed to the fulfillment of four disciplinary missions --- food security, ecological civilization, human health and rural revitalization, our university has been actively promoting the supply-side structural reform from the aspect of major construction. 15 undergraduate majors have been added, and 3 majors have been withdrawn. The total number of majors now has reached 77 and the  major structure is more rational.

With special stress on the layout and construction of emerging disciplines and majors that lead the future agricultural development, a “Smart Agricultural Majors Cluster” is formed, consisting of five core "smart +" majors, including Smart Agriculture, Smart Forestry, Smart Animal Husbandry Science and Engineering, Smart Water Conservancy, and Agricultural Intelligent Equipment Engineering. We will make more contribution to the national rural revitalization strategy by cultivating more talents with abundant knowledge of agriculture and deep love to agriculture.
