Recently, the popular science book "Botanist Cultivation: Exploring the Mysteries of Plants", compiled by the Science Popularization Center of NWAFU Museum Garden, funded by the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, and edited and published by the NWAFU press, was officially released to the public. Printed in color, this 16-mo book is a workwith 162 thousand words. The easy-to-understand text combined with more than 100 coloredillustrationsdepicting the characteristics of plants allowed the book more comprehensible to readers of young age. It will greatly inspiresthem in learning plant knowledge as being a qualified botanist requires.

This book is co-edited by Professor Mu Xiaoqian of Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University and Professor Li Jingang of Shaanxi Normal University. Focusing on the rare plants in NWAFU Museum Garden and the plants with typical Qinling characteristic, this book presents the ten years of research of NWAFU in agriculture and forestry, and unveil the mask of a mysterious plant world for the readers
