　　Research Interests:

　　Agronomic and physiological responses of crops and trees to water deficits. Adaptation of crops to water-limited environments. Climate change impacts on cropping systems Worked with a wide range of crops: wheat, oats, lupin, chickpea, maize, rice, sorghum, tobacco, cotton, soybean, sunflowers; and trees. Published 300 papers and book chapters.
